The concept of cooperation platform with municipalities was created
In the government administration was held meeting leaded by assistant of Prime Minister Sopho Japharidze in human rights and gender equality issues. The aim of meeting was to introduce a new concept for effective implementation of gender policy. As it was noted at the meeting, the Inter-Agency Commission on Gender Equality, Domestic Violence and Domestic Violence issues, for the implementation of gender policy in coordination and local needs, will work to improve cooperation with local municipalities. Inter-agency commission took responsibility to work with local municipalities, inform them ongoing events in the executive government and support effective implementation of gender equality politics. At the meeting were presented representatives of ministries and international organizations who have participated in the discussion of the Concept Document. The concept discussed is based on a proposal developed by the Women's Information Center, submitted to the Parliament and the Interagency Commission in December 2017. |
