
“Gender and Society” is a cycle of programmes implemented by WIC in the framework of various projects. Programmes concerning elimination of violence against women, their political and economic empowerment, advocacy, peace or awareness raising are broadcasted through radios and televisions.
Currently “Gender and Society” are broadcasted in Telavi, Gori, Borjomi, and Kutaisi televisions. In Kakheti region, this cycle of TV programmes is introduced for the first time within the framework of USAID and EU funded projects, and is prepared and broadcasted by the “Tanamgzavri” TV of Telavi. WIC was conducting negotiations also with the Public Broadcaster, though eventually, cooperation could not be achieved.
“Gender and Society” is being broadcasted through radio “Chocolate”, “Dzveli Kalaki”, “Hereti” and “Atinati”. Radio programme cycle is prepared within the framework of the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”.
WIC actively cooperates with the radio “Tavisufleba”. This radio station initiated a project “Gender stories”, where members of the organization take active part. WIC cooperates also with the magazine “Liberal”, which often publishes articles on different gender issues (women’s political engagement, domestic violence, gender mainstreaming).
Women’s Information Center has also close cooperation with the portal gender.ge, taking active part in its programmes.
In total, organization cooperates with 13 regional and central broadcasters, 5 radio stations, information agencies and media-portals.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
