On June 25 Women’s Information Center organized the work meeting. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the results of research ‘’Common Needs and Priorities of Communities Divided by Ceasefire Lines of Georgia
On May 29th, Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, held the Independence Day Reception and the exhibition on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Georgian Parliamentarism. Along with other exhibits, the documentation and photo materials depicting the life and work of women members of Georgia’s first independent Constituent Assembly of 1919-1921 were exhibited.
On June 2-8, 2019 Ukrainian delegation, which includes the representatives of the Ukrainian local self-government, civil-society sector and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), visited Georgia. The aim of the study visit is to share experience of Georgia in different directions such localization of UNSCR 1325, Gender Politics, Gender Budgeting and etc.
On May 13-14, Tbilisi hosted a conference "Localization of 2018-2020 National Action Plan of Georgia for Implementation of the UN Security Council Resolutions on Women, Peace and Security".
On May 2, representatives of Women's Information Center visited conflict affected population of the village Chorchana of municipality of khashuri, which is located near the ABL. During the meeting, the needs of the local population, especially the needs and problems of women have been discussed.
