On April 5-6, 2017, Women’s Information center organized training in Tsalka Community Center. The aim of the training was to inform the people about women’s rights and gender equality issues.
Regional administration representatives from Ukraine, Donetsk and Lugansk, heads of Ukraine's self-help groups, representatives of Women's Fund Ukraine and UN Women Ukraine, are already in Tbilisi. In frames of the study visit, organised by the Women's Information Center and in cooperation with Taso Foundation, the guests will receive all the information about community mobilization in Georgia.

On March 16-17, 2017, Women’s Information Center organized an information meeting in Kabali Community Center. The aim of the meeting was informing local residents about women’s rights and gender equality issues. The participants were local residents. The engagement was high particularly among school teachers.
On March 14, at hotel "Ambassador" WIC organised meeting and presentation of Tbilisi Municipality Gender Equality Mechanism and Gender Equality Strategy. There were held discussions on the working version of Tbilisi Municipality's Action Plan, which will be submitted at the Council in nearest future.
