Women’s Information Center actively cooperates with Central Election Commission (CEC). Representatives of the organization took part in various meetings scheduled by CEC. Women’s Information Center was involved also in the process of elaboration of recommendations, including those on gender statistics and improvement of electoral lists.

With the view of lobbying women’s political empowerment and gender quota, Women’s Information Center actively cooperates with various political parties.

Special textbook – “Women’s participation in local self-government elections 2014” was drawn up, which contains detailed information on gender policy, women’s engagement at decision-making level, gender mainstreaming, etc.

With the view of better introducing capacities and potential of women candidates, WIC is preparing TV and radio programmes in cooperation with several media outlets.

WIC is conducting media monitoring. Study of air time allocated for women in pre-election period, context of their mention and gender terminology used in TV programs, includes the period from May until July.

At the press conference in Prime Time press club, upon the initiative of Task Force, and within the framework of the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”, Women’s Information Center together with the organizations working on gender issues made a special announcement concerning women’s low participation in local elections 2014.

At the meeting with the Coalition “for Women’s Political Engagement”, WIC together with British charitable organization Oxfam made a presentation of second phase of the project. Project aims enhancement of institutional mechanism and the Coalition in terms of gender equality at local self-government level.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
