The Executive Director of the Women's Information Center, Teona Chikovani, participated as both a moderator and panelist in the international conference entitled "Women Join Forces for Peace and Security in the Black Sea Region." The conference was held on September 26 in Brussels.
Teona moderated a panel exploring new opportunities for women's rights organizations to promote regional stability and security in the Black Sea region.
The conference was organized within the framework of the "Women for Peace" project, which aims to strengthen the role of women in conflict transformation and peacebuilding in the Black Sea region. This international meeting brought together leaders and stakeholders from around the world to identify best practices and new opportunities.
The conference was organized by the public association "Women's Reformers and Innovations" (WRI). Founded in 2002 by a group of active women, WRI has a common mission to contribute to the development of Azerbaijan through women's empowerment and equal participation.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
