As part of the project “Women Act for Peace and Community Empowerment,” the cycle of community information meetings continued in the ABL village of Pakhulani, Tsalenjikha Municipality.
The team from the Women’s Information Center introduced participants to the project’s objectives, phases, and action plan.
The discussion focused on the opportunities community members will have for engagement, capacity-building, and participatory development. Participants will play an active role in shaping the vision for their community through the work of self-help groups.
A key component of the meeting was identifying local needs and collecting feedback from participants - what challenges they face, what they would change, and how they envision working collectively.
It is at this stage that a clear vision begins to emerge:
What the project can offer the community and what it expects in return: co-creation, ownership, and transformation.
