
On 16–18 September, a two-day workshop was held in Tbilisi for representatives of civil society organisations working on women’s empowerment. Among the participants were activists and community leaders from Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Guria, Samegrelo, and Imereti.
The aim of the workshop was to support civil society representatives, strengthen their psychological resilience, and facilitate experience sharing.
Psychologist’s session – The program began with a session led by psychologist and expressive arts therapist Natia Panjikidze, where participants discussed stress identification and coping with trauma. Women had the opportunity to engage in metaphorical and body-oriented exercises.
Motivational session – “What One Woman Can Do” – Author, screenwriter, and journalist Nene Kvinikadze shared motivational stories and experiences with the participants.
Journalism and AI session – The session on “Artificial Intelligence in Action” was conducted by a journalist and head of the Journalism Resource Center, Nina Kheladze.
Interactive formats – Participants engaged in an informal Playback Theatre session, where personal stories were transformed into stage improvisations. This process supported the sharing of emotional experiences, mutual understanding, and collective motivation.
The workshop was facilitated by the Chair of the Board of the Women’s Information Center, Elene Rusetskaia, and the Executive Director, Teona Chikovani.
The two-day event created a safe, inclusive, and educational environment where participants gained practical tools for managing stress and emotions, exchanged experiences, and acquired new knowledge.
The workshop was organized jointly by the Women’s Information Center and UN Women, with financial support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
