On May 29th, Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, held the Independence Day Reception and the exhibition on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Georgian Parliamentarism. Along with other exhibits, the documentation and photo materials depicting the life and work of women members of Georgia’s first independent Constituent Assembly of 1919-1921 were exhibited.
On April 22-26, 2019, representatives of Ukrainian state structural units and civil society representatives visited Georgia. The aim of the study visit was to introduce and share experience of Georgia for implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution (1325) on Women, Peace and Security Action Plan.
On May 2, representatives of Women's Information Center visited conflict affected population of the village Chorchana of municipality of khashuri, which is located near the ABL. During the meeting, the needs of the local population, especially the needs and problems of women have been discussed.
On May 13-14, Tbilisi hosted a conference "Localization of 2018-2020 National Action Plan of Georgia for Implementation of the UN Security Council Resolutions on Women, Peace and Security".
