Localization of the National Action Plan (NAP) UN Security Council resolution 1325: consultation meetings in Imereti
On 11 February 2018, consultation meetings were held in Imereti, particularly in Sachkhere and Kutaisi municipality. The consultation meetings were about implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) UN Security Council resolution 1325 at local level. The meetings were held within the framework of project "woman and girls for strong society" in the village Perevi and Kutaisi. The meetings were held by initiative of UN woman organization and US state department, organized by woman's information center and Cultural-Humanitarian fund "Sokhumi".Tthe participants were conflict effected people from village Perevi, members of working group of 1325 NAP localization and representatives of Kutaisi civil society organizations. The participant discussed about results of their work and future plans. Representatives of Kutaisi civil society organizations talked about challenges, needs and the ways of solving problems of conflict effected and internally displaced woman. |
