Localization of the National Action Plan (NAP) UN Security Council resolution 1325: consultation meetings in samegrelo
On 12-13 February 2018, consultation meetings were held in Samegrelo-zemo svaneti, particularly in Zugdidi and Tsalenjikha municipality. The consultation meetings were about implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) UN Security Council resolution 1325 at local level. The meetings were held within the framework of project "woman and girls for strong society" in the villages Khurchasa, Lia and Zugdidi. The meetings were held by initiative of UN woman organization and US state department, organized by woman's information center and Cultural-Humanitarian fund "Sokhumi" ,the participants were Zugdidi and Tsalenjikha municipality members of working group of 1325 NAP localization, refuges from Apkhazia and local population. Representatives of UN woman's organization and US state department held consultation, during consultations was identified needs of local population especially woman's and girl's needs. |
