Localization of the National Action Plan1325: Meetings in the ABL villages
On February 27 was held a meeting with conflict effected people living in Khashuri municipality (wagvli and chorchana). Deputy Mayor Zurab chkhitunidze and other representatives were attending the meeting. The aim of meeting was to introduce project “women and girls for strong society” and inform them about working group of localization of the National Action Plan 1325 that will work on gender equality issues according to rezolutiion1325. At the meeting was revealed needs of local population, especially women’s and was discussed further ways of solving them. At the meeting was identified main problems, such as road, ambulatory, public transport problems. Zurab chkhitunidze said that is planned implementation of two years project of road construction that will start from this year. At the end of the day discussion about local population’s problems continued with members of Khashuri municipality sakrebulo. |
