WIC exhibition in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

On May 29th, Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, held the Independence Day Reception and the exhibition on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Georgian Parliamentarism. Along with other exhibits, the documentation and photo materials depicting the life and work of women members of Georgia’s first independent Constituent Assembly of 1919-1921 were exhibited.
The exhibition “Women Members of Constituent Assembly of 1919-1921”was created within the framework of USAID-supported project “Women as Agents for Change and Empowerment” implemented by Women’s Information Center during 2013-2016 period in cooperation with the National Archives of Georgia.
We are very glad that the exhibition, which was originally hosted by Tbilisi City Assembly, continues to travel outside of Georgia. I would like to express my gratitude to the Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for cooperation.
