Coalition of Non-Governmental Organizations - Association of Internally Displaced Women "Consent", Women's Information Center and Women's Foundation "Sukhumi" - in partnership with the organization UN Women, from January 2021 to March 2025 are implementing the project: "Women and youth Localizing Women Peace and Security Agenda”. A project financially supported by the UK government and one of its priorities is the localization of the National Action Plan, with promotion of participation of women, organizations, Internally displaced and conflict affected women and youth, in local policy planning and budgeting processes.
Within the framework of the project, a coalition of organizations prepared a study in 2023 "Assessment of the needs of the population living near the dividing line in Georgia - The situation of the people living near the dividing line of Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia and in IDP settlements and its gender dimensions" . Internally displaced people and women affected by the conflict participated in this research to Identify the needs in their own communities (in the IDP settlements and in 17 ABL municipalities): Mtskheta, Dusheti, Kareli, Gori, Kaspi, Khashuri, Tetritskaro, Gardabani, Tskaltubo, Kutaisi, Khoni, Sachkhere, Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha and in the municipalities of Senaki, Mestia and Oni), which is related to accommodation/relocation and infrastructure, access to services, women’s economic empowerment, agriculture, human security, gender-based violence and other issues. As a result of the implementation of the project, the majority of the locally identified problems were solved, which significantly contributed to coordination of the central government and local municipalities for the implementation of on women, peace and security agenda, From the point of view of the implementation of the commitments made by the national action plan. Also, Within the framework of the project, the "Peace Ambassador Women and Youth Network" was created, which is actively contributing to the advocacy of the needs of internally displaced people and those living in villages near the dividing line of Georgia.
The participants of the activities defined by the current project are the IDPs (living in IDP settlements or collective centers), Women and youth living in villages located along the dividing line in Georgia, from 17 target municipalities, namely: Mtskheta, Dusheti, Kareli, Gori, Kaspi, Khashuri, Tetritskaro, Gardabani, Tskaltubo, Kutaisi, Khoni, Sachkhere, Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha and Senak. Some events of Mestia are also planned in Oni municipalities.
The project is aimed at empowering women and youth living in the target municipalities and forming them into leaders who will be able to identify existing or potential problems and challenges, respond appropriately to needs, represent their own and community interests and advocate at the local government level and/or with other relevant agencies.
Additionally, it is planned to strengthen the internally displaced and conflict-affected women and youth members of the "Peace Ambassador Women and Youth Network" and support the advocacy of the issues raised by them, so that they have the opportunity to actively participate in the decision-making processes related to the Peace and Security.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
