Women’s Information Center carries out a project Informed Society and Gender Based Democracy in Election Process with the support of Central Election Commission's LEPL Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings.

Women’s Information Center carries out a new project entitled “Empowered Women for Peace and Development”, which is supported by the U.S. Department of State.

Women’s Information Center, in cooperation with Asian Development Bank (ADB), is conducting a survey concerning sexual harassment in public transport.

Project aims to support IDP, conflict-affected and ethnic minority women’s groups, as well as civil society and other governmental partners and to provide them with different opportunities in order to improve the situation in terms of gender equality and women’s rights in Georgia.

 “Women as agents for change and empowerment” aims to support women’s full participation in political, economical, peace-building and conflict prevention processes, promote their political engagement in target regions, empower women in socio-economic point of view through mobilizing communities, and identify local needs.

Since 2012, Women’s Information Center is implementing the project “Gender sensitive information for gender equality in Georgia” with the financial support of Swedish organization “Kvinna till Kvinna”.

Project goal, in addition to promoting development of the Coalition for Women’s Political Engagement, is to support enhancement of institutional mechanism for gender equality at the local self-governmental level.

Project goal is raising awareness of Pankisi population, ethnic and religious minorities, as well as refugees, toward the problems related to violence against women and domestic violence. Within the framework of this project, organization conducts training “Men talking to men”, legal consultations, as well as trainings for the councils of elder men and women.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
