Women's Information Center is working on strengthening of gender policy on local self-government level. Within the scope of this activity, the representatives of the organization held a working meeting with representatives of the Signagi Municipality NGO and members of the Gender Council.
8 March, a briefing was held in the Parliament building, with the NGOs, a statement was read on behalf of non-governmental organizations and on the Parliament to support the initiative on gender quotas in 2017 on June 12.
On 23-25 February, two day meeting was organized in the framework of the project “Strengthening Gender Policy on Local Government Level “with inclusion of Tbilisi’s Municipality decision makers. The aim of the meeting was to renew the gender equality plan for Tbilisi Municipality.

Center for Civic Engagement in Marneuli Within the initiative of Women's Information Center meeting will be held with the participation of local NGOs, Marneuli Assembly members and representative of the Public Defender in the region. The aim of the meeting was to discuss issues related to the creation of the Gender Equality Council in Marneuli municipality board.
Women's Information Center continues to work on strengthening of gender policy at local level. Within the scope of this activity, the working meeting was held between Signagi Municipality Council members and representatives of Women's Information Center.
