The training cycle "In Her Shoes" continues actively in 2023. The first session was held in Kvemo Kartli, Bolnisi municipality. Within the framework of the training, participants discuss harmful gender stereotypes and social norms that provoke violence based on 8 different cases of violence. Mamuka Gachechiladze, the expert in WIC, leads the session traditionally.

The meeting was conducted in a question-and-answer mode, and the participants received information about all the services available to victims of violence.

Within the training cycle, more than 1080 people were trained last year. Training will actively continue in 2023.

The training cycle, which is carried out by the WIC in Guria and Kvemo Kartli with the support of UN Women Georgia, is designed according to the well-known guide “In Her Shoes”.

The photo content was prepared within the framework of the partner organization UN Women Georgia’s program, "End violence against women and girls in Georgia".
