Localization of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace, and security, challenges of IDPs, - the team members of the "Women's Information Center" discussed these and other issues with the representatives of the Global Network of Women Peace Builders GNWP in New York.
The meeting was attended by GNWP Founder and Executive Director Ms.Maria Victoria "Mavic" Cabrera-Balleza, GNWP's Senior Program Director, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and South Caucasus Regions Ms. Jasmin Nario Galace, and Vice-Chair of the CEDAW Committee and Chair of the Board of Directors Ms. Bandana Rana.
WIC team members provided GNWP with information on good practices and challenges in localizing #1325. They talked about the situation in the South Caucasus region, especially the so-called They focused on the information campaign in the villages along the ABL. Also, the conversation touched on the information campaign that the Women's Information Center conducts in the direction of peace building.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
